Little Fish Shak

Walking around Johns Pass at Madeira Beach, one finds all kinds of little gems. This one might have been somebody's home some time ago, and while the family grew larger, the house had to grow as well. Now it's a little Fish Shak.

View of the Pacific Ocean

Up on the cliff is the Yogananda Meditation Garden. It's open to the public and very frequented by people who like to take a break in their hectic lives and enjoy the calm and the flowers and the view.

Serenity

Looking at another part of this amazing Yogananda Garden on top of the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean in Encinitas. How they managed to grow all these different and exotic plants here is a miracle.

Kayaks on the Roof

In California one can find the most interesting situations. This is in La Jolla. These people have kayaks and canoes on their roof and a beautiful front yard right across from the Pacific Ocean. How extraordinary is that!

La Jolla Coastline

This is a typical sunny day here in La Jolla. The Pacific is dark blue, the sky kind of hazy and the sun is warm. Due to the usually strong waves the costline is pretty rough. Amazing that the plants can survive considering the salty breeze coming in from the ocean all the time.
