Hidden away from the tourist area of Big Sur, California, there is this lovely little place, nestled underneath the huge pine trees. The whole region of Big Sur is relatively sparsely populated, with about 2,000 year-round residents. But during the summer lots of tourists overflow the few visitor accommodations like lodges and campgrounds. Sometimes the traffic on Hwy 1 comes to a stop and go situation leaving one lots of time to enjoy the view and the fresh air.

But during the summer tons of tourists overflow the few visitor accommodations like lodges and campgrounds. And the Highway 1 can be stop and go. That’s why we prefer the spring or autumn season to come here.
